Develop your land in Kano without selling it

Kano is where Brooch started, and it remains the market we know street by street. The city has a shortage that anyone who has tried to rent or buy in a good district already knows: demand for quality modern housing far exceeds what’s being built, while family-held plots in the best locations sit idle because developing them properly costs more than most families want to risk. That gap is exactly what a joint venture solves. You keep the plot. We take the risk of the build.

Districts we focus on

Our priority areas are Nassarawa GRA, Bompai, Hotoro GRA, Zoo Road axis, and the newer expansion corridors where infrastructure is arriving ahead of construction. If your land is elsewhere in Kano but in a location with genuine buyer demand, we’ll still look at it. What matters is that people with money are actively trying to buy or rent in that area and can’t find quality stock.

How it works here

The structure is the same everywhere we operate: you contribute land, we fund and deliver everything from design through sale, and the value is split on terms fixed in writing before we start. The full breakdown, including the protections built into the agreement, is on our joint venture page. In Kano specifically, we handle approvals with the state authorities directly; we’ve been through the process and know where it slows down.

What we look for in Kano

Plots from about 600 square metres in the districts above, with a Certificate of Occupancy or documents that can be perfected. Family land with multiple signatories is fine and common here; we structure the agreement so every interest-holder signs. Corner pieces and plots on tarred roads move fastest, but the honest answer is that location quality decides everything, and we assess that in person.
